Germ Busters To The Rescue!
You might not have any snow on the ground just yet, but winter is fast approaching and the holidays are almost here. Flu season is upon us and, as Super Natural Superheroes, we don't want to miss out on any of the outdoor fun during our holiday break.
ATCHOOO! Is that a cold? Germs are all around us and you can't avoid them but not all germs make you sick. If they do, your body tries to fight them off. You see, your blood contains white blood cells. These cells zap cold germs with the special chemicals that they make. That's why it's important to keep our bodies healthy so they can do their job to protect us. Don't forget some simple tips though. Wash your hands frequently, sneeze into your arm, and if you do catch a cold, stay home!

Do some research with your parents, caregivers, teachers to find out what fruits and vegetables your want to use in your smoothie.
How to make a fruit smoothie. This is just an example. You will make your own combination of fruits, vegetables, liquid and any other personal food favourites that you have chosen.
Make sure an adult is helping you with your blender or hand blender.
You can also make your smoothie into amazing popsicle snacks as well.
