Adventures in Your Hometown

The Spark:
Lights, camera, action!  Have your ever wanted to embark on an amazing adventure that takes you to far away places of mystery and intrigue?  What might come to your mind are pirate ships, lost islands, Amazon forests, climbing Mount Everest, and chugging away on boat along the Nile, but you may not be able to do that just yet.  How about creating an adventure of your own, right where you live?

Have you ever heard of a staycation?  Essentially, it's a vacation spent at home, one spent on day trips and visiting local festivals, markets and attractions.  This quest could be well planned or it could simply be improvised, ad libbed, off the cuff or spontaneous.  Or, it could contain a little bit of both.  Either way, it'll be all you!

Before you begin, you need an alias (a stage name, an aka, otherwise known as, or an incognito.)  Then, you need to muster up a wardrobe.  It may be as simple as putting on a funky hat or a scarf or even just adding a pair of glasses to what you are already wearing.  This is just to let people know that your quest is special and what you are reporting on is interesting.

No, this is not a wardrobe malfunction.  It's you.

Super Natural Child: Superheroes ACTIVATE!  Are you interested in going out into your town or community,  immersing in cultural festivals and events, documenting and reporting what you see, and sharing your findings with friends and family?  Then your staycation begins now!  Start your quest to find out more.  Your quest begins with the question WHY?

Start Your Quest:
